Do you offer “clean up” services?

Yes! A clean up project may be necessary before beginning monthly services.

Do you do taxes and payroll?

No. We will work collaboratively with your tax accountant as needed and utilize data from your existing payroll program.

How do I know if I even need a bookkeeper?

Great question! You may NOT need a bookkeeper if:

  • On average, you have fewer than 75 monthly transactions. This indicates a manageable number of transactions that you likely have the time and capacity to track yourself.

  • You are consistently and accurately categorizing all of your transactions every month.

  • You love managing every detail about your business and want the line of sight that doing your own bookkeeping provides.

  • You have a spreadsheet system or a QuickBooks Online subscription that fits your needs, and you can navigate it confidently.

You may consider hiring a bookkeeper if:

  • You are currently paying a tax accountant to do your taxes and bookkeeping, but are interested in a more cost-effective approach.

  • Your business is too complex for a spreadsheet, but the thought of learning an accounting software makes you nervous.

  • You are already a QuickBooks Online user, but would like professional assistance to ensure accuracy.

  • You are proficient in QuickBooks, but do not have the time or desire to categorize every transaction and reconcile the accounts every month.

  • You suspect that your business is not reaching its full earning potential because of the time you have to spend being your own bookkeeper.
